Treasurer’s Report
- $38,515.38, Nichole gave treasurer report.
- Ron Lewis Research-$4000- this was voted on previously by the board. Ron provided an update on the GEMs project.
Committee Reports
- Sale: Following sales upcoming this summer.
- Midwest Stud Ram- June 14th
- NSIP Online- July 11&12
- Center of the Nation July 27th
- Youth: Pick a winner- board members to review applications and email their vote.
- Advertising:
- ASI Ad-$500/month -June, July, August-Jeremy made a motion to fund all three months ads, Second by Zach, vote passed anonymously.
- Minnesota Lamb and Wool Producers Ad- $100, $75, $50 Scott motioned and Kayla seconded to do the full page ad in Minnesota Lamb and wool.
New Business
- Newsletter coordinator, Matt will fill in this fall.
- Treasurer needs reimbursement for supplies such as envelopes and stamps, Board vote approved.
- Newsletter-May 15th content due (need bios for board nominations)-New newsletter writer -Bev will start first newsletter by June 1st.
- Recognition of members leaving industry? Discussion of the creation of Polypay Legacy Award to be nominated by the membership and voted on by the Board of directors and awarded at the annual meeting.
